Rocky is our first and certainly not our last! He is an excellent example of what an Araloosa should be. Rocky was awarded Highest Scoring Partbred in Halter at the ECAHS Celebration in September 2003!!! He won his very first blue ribbon in the part-bred halter class and had a high score of 85 and medaled in silver (he was 3 mos old)!! He consistently scored high in the 2004 Celebration and last year, 2005, took high score (silver) again. Rocky is the first of our Araloosa herd, he is incredibly laid back and easy to work with. At 3 months he clipped, loaded, lead, stood quietly for the farrier - just like a pro! He has been started under saddle and nothing, but nothing rattles him.
